Our Featured Horse of the Month is Baloo

Baloo, whose shown name is “Bare Necessities”, is an Appaloosa-Draught cross who was born in 2011. He came to us in October from a local trail riding barn so the lesson horse life is brand new to him. He is a big boy but has the personality of a puppy dog.

His riders often find him nuzzling in their pockets as they wait to head out for their lesson. Baloo is adapting to his new life well and proving himself to be quite talented both on the flat and over fences!

He has a good temperament and though he still has a lot to learn about working in a ring, we have already used him in our march Break camp with great success.  This year he will be making his debut in our Musical Ride!
